DESIGN 

The design process at Bent Grass is divided into three phases. In Schematic Design spatial relationships are explored through plans and sketches. Design Development sees the refinement of the plan and selection of materials while the blueprints needed for bidding and construction are developed during the Construction Document phase.

CONSTRUCTION 

A successful design continues to evolve during construction. A big part of our work is to make sure the design fits within the context of the site. Spaces are more complex than can be illustrated on the page.  The design process does not stop until the last plant is in the ground.

ESTABLISHMENT

The landscape is a dynamic environment involving both living systems and built objects. A good garden space is designed to change from moment to moment, season to season, year to year. It is the ideal that we remain involved with the spaces we design, to ensure that they reach their full potential and meet the client's needs.
