The firm has been in practice since 2004 helping Southern and Central California build sustainable spaces for living, and recreation. Our work now focuses on residential garden design.
Meet the Team

Jeff Pervorse
As a native of northern California, Jeff developed a deep appreciation for the diversity of California’s climate and its native plants. He lived and studied in Japan while he was an undergraduate.
Jeff studied Landscape Architecture at UCLA following a career as an Occupational Therapist. First working with Nancy Goslee Power and Associates in Santa Monica he later lead the landscape division at Marmol Radziner and Associates where the American Society of Landscape Architects awarded his projects national recognition. He started BENT GRASS in 2004.

Sarita Singh
Sarita received her Bachelor of Architecture from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Sarita practiced Architecture and Interior Design before she realized her true love is Landscape Design.
Jeff and Sarita bonded over their love of plants while working at Marmol + Radziner and Associates.

We are excited to see outdoor living more fully embraced. We see the challenge of designing in an urban setting particularly energizing. Some of the richest experiences are those devised for the smallest of spaces. When continuity between a small space and its larger context is strong, outdoor living expands exponentially.
